shuttle/parking question

my fiance and i are attending for the first time tomorrow. we are a little nervous with all of the extremely negative posts/experiences about getting to the lots to even park.

ive seen positive posts about the shuttle service getting there, but i havent seen much about peoples experiences getting out of the lot with the shuttle. anyone able to speak on how that was and if its worth it to ditch the parking pass and opt for the shuttle instead for tomorrow?
