Does anyone else do this?

Sometimes when I travel somewhere, I learn enough of the local language to get by. Then if I go to another country where they speak a completely different language, my brain will automatically try to use the language from the last country I was in.

It’s like my brain just goes “not English = use that other foreign language.”

Kinda funny but also confusing. Does this happen to anyone else?
