An interesting Alpha Centauri theory from Us Before Them

Obviously, I wrote Us Before Them, but I am still allowed to have theories about stuff I didn't fully flesh out.

One thing in particular relates to the groups of people who eventually became the Roaches/Harbingers. Their original dropship had a very rough landing, so they lost pretty much all of their supplies. Subsequently, they fractured into a lot of smaller groups and dispersed into the woods.

About twenty years later, the Edish discovered both the Roaches and the Enlightened Ones at the same time, went to war with the Enlightened Ones, and sent Aramis Crow to recruit the various Roach groups as mercenaries.

But did he actually make contact with all of the individual groups? Did they all accept his offer? Could there be another group of ~100+ people in the far north of the subcontinent who have no idea the Edish, Enlightened Ones, or Earthmen exist? What might they be doing?
