Why would I ever upgrade ILM if I´m running Space Displacer?

Hi,
I just unlocked ILM as my second last UW. All labs going strong. I´ve read that you don´t need to upgrade it that much in order for it to be good, and since I don´t have Chrono Jump yet I figure that it is just another crowd control option. Which is great!

To the point: I don´t see the benefits of upgrading ILM at all since I will be running SD as an assmod. Neither amount or cooldown seems to be worth it, because the mines will just spawn by themselves. I do however see the benefits of adding land mine chance to the main modules substats.

Thoughts?
