Nice. What do you have planned for it?
I want to keep it original and get her back to how my grandpa had it but we'll see what we've got once we start getting into it. She's pretty rough but lucky for me I work at an auto body shop and get the "little sister" treatment. The engine is actually in pretty good shape and it sounds like my cousin actually got it running once before. This is my first project ever so...wish me luck!
Good luck w/it.
I agree on the keeping it pure comment, although having restored one myself, I'd just say that an updated engine, suspension, electrical system (painless wiring harness), and updated heat and air (vintage air) would make it into a drive anywhere sweetheart. Or if you prefer, keep it all original, just enjoy those hours of work you put into it, it will all be worth it in the end!
Awesome, Congratulations! I've been wanting to get an AD truck for a while now. It's very easy to fit those trucks on to S10 frame/drivelines btw.
That's gonna look sweet cruisin down the road. Have fun man!
Really nice setup. The 50's and 60's suburban's are awesome.
I disagree with keeping it pure. Do what you want with it. Have fun, take care of it. You are now the custodian of it's history so what ever you do, do it well.
Great to be keeping it in the family! Make sure you look after it - don't go chopping and dropping it, gotta keep some of them pure.
