What if hobos actually freed Imu?

What if joyboy actually freed imu from being locked up in the abyss, which is where i think Davy jones is. Joyboy represented freedome and even imu freaked out fighting Loki and straight “RIGHT JOYBOY?!”. What I’m thinking here is maybe imu was locked in the abyss for thousands of years or so, or the god originally locked him in there, and than joyboy freed him thinking nobody should be locked up like that “something luffy would do”, and that caused the second worlds downfall. I mean I can’t say for sure how much of it would be true but it’s a possibility right?
