my cat has recently started ONLY drinking from the tap

As the title says, my cat, Kit Kat (who is 11) has started refusing to drink from her bowl and ONLY drinking from the tap. This only started a couple months ago - bear in mind we’ve had her since she was 3 and she’s never drank from a tap up until now. Our other cat, Bella, would be an occasional tap drinker but she’s always been like that and it’s never influenced Kit Kat.

We got Kit Kat a cat water fountain but she refuses to drink from it, backs away and acts unsure and scared towards it. She will NOT stop meowing until we turn the tap on and it’s unbearable because she also doesn’t like when you leave the room when she drinks so she will leave and meow at you to come supervise her drinking…

Any suggestions on how i can maybe wean her off the tap and still keep her drinking because i tried just ignoring her hoping she’d resort to her water bowl or fountain but she’ll just meow and meow and meow until you cave and i don’t think she’s getting enough hydration because of it.
