I love the season finale

Im tired of pretending like it wasn't amazing. Especially Hughie and Butcher's last moments. He knew he couldn't change, there was too much anger and resentment after years of being able to do nothing. Everyone that genuinely meant something to him left whether intentionally or not. Throughout the season Hughie made it very clear he was sick with Butcher, Ryan realized he wanted self determination instead of being a weapon, Terror passing away. Not only that I think there was a level of guilt for what he was doing to MM and Annie. Remember the One Shot episode everyone called "filler". There's a conversation between Butcher and MM. Butcher tries to push MM away from the same kind of darkness that swallowed his humanity. He mentions his daughter and wife, asking if when this is all over, wouldnt he want to go back to them. MM says they're better off without him. Butcher knew the monster he was, and he knew he didn't have the patience or the self control to save himself. This finale was great from top to bottom.
