Searching for tips on how to play eclipse.

So i just retired my character and picked up nightshroud but have been struggling pretty hard with it (probably because we are playing a 2 party eclipse and spellweaver). Nonetheless I feel like I only can do damage every 2 turns and still take out only 1 monster. So I wanted to ask for some tips especially because this class is so out of my normal playstyle.
