How many of you have ever or are confused about your sexuality/identity?
I’m just curious to hear some other perspectives and experiences outside my own. I’m not particularly active in “the community,” and don’t have many other lgbt friends so I’d love to hear some new information.
I’m a cis gay man, but I always found that I never had really any problem identifying myself cleanly. In my mind it was always quite simple: I’m sexually and romantically attracted to other men, I have no similar feelings to women, therefore I’m gay.
I understand that some other people have much more complex orientations and attractions from mine, but also I’ve heard of other homosexual/bisexual people also being very confused with their feelings. What is this like and why do some people seem to have more difficulty than others? Is it odd for me to have never really struggled to identify myself? Thanks everyone and I’d love to hear your thoughts! :)
