My skillset is too specific, I feel like I can't beat anything anymore.
About 3 months ago I beat the plunge as my hardest because the style fit the type of levels I beat very well, and playing it felt natural to me. The problem now after I have been trying some more harder high extended-mainlist demons is that I literally can't do anything on them. It takes me tens of thousands of attempts to get to a point where I know a level, and can do 5-10 percent runs on them, even if they are placed near the plunge on the list, or even lower than it.
Naturally I wouldn't think this is a problem and an issue of willpower and commitment because these are very difficult levels, but then I played andromeda and made better progress on it runs wise then (for example) when I tried Truefett. Andromeda is like the perfect level gameplay wise for me, but it is just way too difficult to try to beat right now, but I don't know how to get to a point where I can pick up a list level and learn it, without it matching my playstyle exactly.
I want to know if people relate to this at all, and what anyone recommends I do, whether that's toughen up and be a little more committed to levels, or beat some top 500s with different gameplay than what I usually do. Any discussion is appreciated.
