Evil Eye

Today my friend randomly reminded me to do an “evil eye removal” thing like putting chili in tissue and circling it anti clockwise around myself then burn it.

What confused me is nothing bad even happened today, this week or last week. It was just after I got a normal reminder from someone, and suddenly my friend was like “you should do evil eye removal.” When I asked why, she said, “you never know”

What makes me even more confused is that I barely even post anything online lately. The last thing I uploaded on Instagram story was like 2 weeks ago and it was literally just a food picture. Since then I haven’t posted myself, didn’t post my face anywhere, and I didn’t really share anything big publicly either.

The only “good news” I received recently was something work related from my company, but I only shared it with my close family. That’s why I’m genuinely wondering, how do people even know they got evil eye? Can it really happen even when you keep your life private?
