Strange activity

I apologize in advance if this is not the space for this, I'm new to actually posting on reddit and not just reading.

I've experienced much paranormal activity in my life. When I started dating my now husband, I knew the second I walked into his home that it was deeply haunted.

From knocking on doors and walls to full length ladders being thrown across a room, to my daughter (7) telling me there is a ghost in the hallway, we have experienced a lot.

The home has been saged and activity seemed to cease.

However, recently my husband and I have noticed activity again but only when our daughter is not home. Nothing as fear inducing as before but just noises and voices that are not our own.

The advice I'm seeking, or rather question I have is why would activity start again randomly and why only when our daughter is not home?
