First PC Build: Need help picking most compatible parts
I am currently looking to upgrade from a pre-built PC to one I can build myself, since I am planned to be getting a substantial raise at work in July. I already have a GPU as I used it to boost my current PC, but would like to build a new one around it as I am reaching bottlenecks with my outdated CPU. I can only deal so much with my CPU maxing out trying to get shaders compiled, slowing down my entire computer.
Budget: My goal is to keep it to $1000 if I can, but I can push it up to $1500. I also have a $100 amazon gift card, so if at least one part can be through Amazon that would be great.
Use Case: Primarily gaming, my most played games at the moment being Marvel Rivals, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civ 5, and Cyberpunk 2077. I also tend to play heavily modded games and emulated games. I do want to get into creating mods as well, so I will probably also be using Blender.
Parts will be purchased in the United States.
Peripherals: I already have a keyboard, mouse, microphone, headset, and 2 monitors (1080p, 144Hz) that I'm currently using.
For parts, I already have:
GPU: Asus Prime OC GeForce RTX 5070 12 GB
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower GT 850W 80+ Gold Fully Modular ATX
The AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is on my radar for CPU, but I wanted more opinions and to see how that would tie in with other parts. My room also tends to get hot (especially in the summer), so some good cooling capabilities will be nice as well.
