Highest base pay I've had in a long while.
So I get an order right before I wrap up for 25$/5 miles, I grabbed it right away then realized the order would only end up costing about 30$. At this point my alarms were going off, but I felt I should power through because maybe just maybe it was a high basepay for some reason. I realize when I get to the store they are closing in like 5 minutes, I rush but make it out with the order, and was right about the price. So at this point im already screenshotting the customer in case they are a tip baiter, then i head out. I deliver the order nice and easy leave it. I look at my earnings and the base was 24.50$ 25.50 after tip.
So my question is did uber just inflate this order because it was so close to the store closing or what? Because even if it was getting turned down, someone would have taken it at 10$/5m for sure.
