any classic, low maintenance hairstyles i can try?

when i start university in September i won’t have money to be getting braids done monthly so any recommendations on ways i can style my bra strap length type 4 hair?

i don’t typically enjoy wearing wigs/ sew ins as i like to let my scalp breathe. i have done mini twists before and might consider doing it again with added hair.
it’s a bit difficult to get extensions + clip ins at the moment because my hair is bleached (and badly lol) and i find it hard to get a good colour match
