I wish I had a child

I want to give a small human every ounce of love and support I have.

I want to greet them every morning with a hug and breakfast on the table, to comfort them when they're afraid or in pain, make sure they never go to bed hungry, read to them, drive them to practice and watch every game/concert/recital, help them with their homework, learn about their silly quirks, take them to get whatever crazy haircut they've always wanted, take them out for ice cream, and fight for whatever resources they need to succeed.
