pixel buds pro 2 just suddenly shit the bed

So ive had some pixel buds pro 2 for a little while now and i just got home after work a bit ago. I put on my earbuds to start playing games aaaaaand suddenly the right earbud doesnt turn on at all. It doesnt make a noise when placing it into the case, i cant factory reset them because my case can no longer even "see" the right earbud even when its connected (yes ive cleaned the connections, yes ive tried charging, yes ive tried forgetting and reconnecting).

should i just go chuck these at a dumpster as hard as i can or am i missing something? cause im very sure theyre out of warrenty.
