New to Apex and Vantage

Hi! Just started Apex last week and picked Vantage as my first character to unlock. I was playing lifeline for the first week. Do you guys have any tips for Vantage? I usually run with the Longbow(2x-4x or 3cog) and an AR sometimes a Smg.

What’s some advice you have? I have been struggling with the echo jump. Is there a way to get your weapon out super fast or do you have to land before you can pull out a gun?
