Matchmaking and rank gaps

Made an account just to ask. Why is every game I'm in with arcanist teammates and the enemy Eternus 1 plus? I'm Ascendant 5, don't even really consider myself good but the quality of my teammates has to be some kind of joke. And the enemy team? Top 500 and above players 80% of the game. Not even exaggerating, at least according to statlocker, they are matching me against some of the best players in the country with people first time a character and a 40% winrate overall. 6v6 has barely been playable for months because of this but the past few weeks have made me want to uninstall. I don't care about winning, I just want fun games but that's not possible with this kind of gap.
