Too many posts on r/mildlyinfuriating exist only because the OP has no backbone

I've been seeing a lot of complaints there that could easily be resolved through a conversation or confrontation.

For example, "This asshole behind me had his shoes off on the entire flight".

How about instead of whining on the internet for meaningless karma, you actually try being assertive, confront the guy, and tell him to put his fucking shoes back on!

Maybe some people just prefer being passive aggressive, I don't know. All I'm saying is complaining to strangers online isn't gonna do shit.
