Custodian to TTO!

Hello - I'm posting this on a throwaway mainly because there's people at my RPDC that browse this reddit.

Currently, I'm wondering about transferring to TTO when the chance arises - my RPDC just opened last year and we've been working 56 hours a week to fufill Line H. They want around /16/ Custodians per shift. This is probably the biggest building in all of USPS. We're already looking for things to do as it is with being halfway staffed to the point where people are almost coming to blows about other tours taking each other's work. Some of us just sit in the break room when we're done.

Line H or not, I don't see how the bean counters will be able to justify 16 per tour when right now we're already basically 'overstaffed'. Without doomer posting, yes, I fear that the staffing package may be reduced. I have a CDL-A and want to move to TTO or MVO, but there's no open positions at my plant.. yet. Only 6-7 TTOs are at my RPDC. Is there anyone here that's been able to internally transfer in-facility to either of those successfully? I have my DOT physical and my hazmat/tanker endorsements. I just don't know how to go about transferring other than using e-reassign, which will take awhile.
