Night weaning urgent help!

I’ve day weaned my 23 month old but I’m still feeding to sleep and feeding overnight.

Tonight I just had it, he was feeding for an hour and I couldn’t unlatch him so I told him no more milk. It was horrendous it took an hour to sleep. He woke up a few hours later at 2am and I decided I would refuse. It took an hour of rocking telling stories singing, so much crying.

Now my question is I know I have to stick it out and refuse night feeds - how about feeding to sleep ? Can I continue doing it or is it too confusing ? I say urgent because I need a plan for tomorrow nap and bedtime.

I normally plan everything very carefully but I just couldn’t handle it anymore. I’m in pain and he’s attached to the boob at night!

My partner tried to help (he sleeps in another room) when he heard the crying but toddler screamed even more.
