Please help me decide between two Micro Center bundles
Hi all,
Hoping this avoids some kind of rule 6 issue.
There are two bundles available at my local Micro Center that I can't decide between and would love some input. I am jumping on the deal before deciding other things about the build (GPU, case, PSU, cooling, storage etc). Likely going to go with a 9070 XT and a 1000W PSU if that matters.
Both bundles include:
->AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
->ASUS B850-E TUF Gaming WiFi AM5
Difference is with the RAM. One is $200 more ($500 vs $700) by adding the Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB DDR5-6000.
I am tempted to go with the RAM bundle because the price is great. I am rebuilding after using my current beast of a PC for 10 years with no issues, so I am cautious with the reviews and related threads.
My questions are:
Is the RAM good/reliable long term if I don't plan to overclock?
I have seen some complaints with it, and want something that can be put in and forgotten about. Otherwise I have been eyeing the TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta
Is there an issue if the MOBO does not list DDR5-6000 as a memory type?
Speeds are listed at 8000 MHz+ (OC), but I like to just run out of the box. Highest memory type is -5800. Should I be looking for something that clearly supports -6000 or -6400?
How bad is the cooling for a 9850X3D?
I was planning on a Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE, but can do one of the fancy radiators if necessary.
Let me know if there is anything else I should be considering as well!
