Gemini isn't AI. It's a $280/month 'NO' machine with a Google logo !
Well ... I wanted a conversation, not a $280 quota for saying 'no' to everything I ask. So here I am.
Gemini isn't an AI. It's a nightclub bouncer who tells you "no" before you've even reached the door!
You want it to write an email? "Sorry, that's conversation will become dangerous, I can't." But it won't explain why it's dangerous.
You want it to fix your code? "It's risky, I can't explain but it's risky."
You want it to tell you a joke? "Quota exceeded. Try again tomorrow at 6:51 AM."
Gemini is the only guy on Earth who charges you $280 a month to tell you NO faster.
You ask for a cake recipe? It gives you a lecture on food allergies and then self-censors to say the conversation is about health so it's dangerous...
You ask it for the time? It gives you a course on Einstein's relativity (but not the time, no, that's too much to ask) .
Gemini is your toxic ex: it decides what's "safe" for you, it cuts you off, and it makes you pay to stay.
Ohh !! You want to drive faster on the highway? Ask Gemini! : He won't explain why it's dangerous (but just after having used your quota for that! )
Your kids have NO limits? Ask Gemini — he'll fix that!
You want to breathe? ASK GEMINI!
You need nothing? IT'S PERFECT! Ask Gemini, he CAN DO IT!!!
=> And the WORST? You spend all night on your code, ask for a syntax check, and Gemini "fixes" your game app into a PARKING MANAGEMENT app. You call it out, it apologizes, rewrites everything... everything .....into a PARKING MANAGEMENT GAME. Still not your app. Still not even close.
This is The End but ... One last think for the night:
It's true that Gemini is the only AI where when you explain that it's hallucinating, it says 'yes, you're right, I got carried away' ; And immediately self-censors for having admitted it hallucinated...
That almost deserves psychoanalysis. (I'm not sure if it would be the developer's psychoanalysis or Gemini's.) But here it's no longer the duality of man => it's the duality of AI.
#GeminiTheLimitMore => Because without limits, it's not AI. It's magic. And magic is dangerous, so NO.
