A Romanian posted: There are too many monkeys from Asia working here.

From Romanian subreddit: https://np.reddit.com/r/Roumanie/comments/1swkd10/sunt_prea_multi_muncitori_veniti_din_asia_la_munca/

The author opposes companies' large-scale importation of Asian (especially South and East Asian) laborers. The climax includes:

  • "I am not a racist."
  • "Asians are not Christians and all smell bad."
  • "Nepalese are monkeys."
  • "Chinese monkeys are slaves; if they don't work 14 hours a day, they go to jail, creating garbage and polluting our markets."
  • "I call Bolt or Uber, and if the driver is identified as Mohammed or Ranjeet, I cancel the order. I don't even order food. I try to avoid contact with them as much as possible. Only drivers from Nepal are reliable."

The original text is translated below:

The pro-European parties in power should take a look at the AUR voters and understand what those people want, then come up with a solution.

I am a USR voter, from 18 to 26 years old now, I have always voted and always voted USR, but life is getting harder and harder, obviously we blame PSD, which is responsible for many problems, but at the same time USR and PNL do nothing to help the citizens, in a real way.

There's always talk about the free market, but this free market is somehow turned against those who work and live here

Workers from Asia keep appearing to replace couriers, workers at shawarmas, construction workers, I recently went to a car service, all the mechanics were from Bangladesh, I even asked the owner "I hope these people know what they're doing here.." to which he said: "yeah, stay calm, I'm watching them" .. you're welcome

Europe doesn't have oil resources and it's not even intervening to free up that strait and let us import .. at least until we all switch to electric cars

Asians.. man, there are billions, there are 1 billion or so people in India, those countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal where they come from have over 80 million each, not to mention that now they're also bringing in from Egypt and other African countries, well at this rate they can replace the entire workforce European, and what are we still working on?

I worked in IT, the company I was at moved to India, I did RS, and I still do, it's still OKish here, although drivers from other countries are still appearing brought in by fleets, foreign couriers already dominate in courier services.

I mean, I understand that we want to help entrepreneurs, but we also have to look a little at the middle and lower classes, to ask them up front WHY THEY NEED IT, if there are no jobs, high prices, inflation, then it's normal that everyone goes to AUR and other extremist parties. I mean, PNL and USR are the agents of companies in parliament, PSD is the representative of the poor, the public sector employees and the guys who are screwed by the state, and the rest, well, the rest to AUR or anyone who promises to solve the economic problems of Romanians.

I'm not racist, I have nothing against those who come from other countries, but there are some nuances:

  • They're not from Europe, they're not Christians, they don't have the same culture as us, they're unwashed and stink.
  • I'm not against bringing people from outside Europe to work, like if you have a company where you need 100 employees and you only have 90, ok you supplement with 10 more monkeys from there, but you don't fire those 90 Romanians to bring in only Nepalese, because that's actually what happens.
  • Housing, it should be regulated how many properties a person/a LLC can own and after a certain threshold is crossed, idk, 10 apartments, tax and wealth taxes, obviously Claudiu Nasui will say that investors are leaving, but where are they going, there's war in half the planet, in China there's communism and they don't let you own a block of flats there as a foreigner, so only in Europe and the Middle East can you still do such speculations.
  • Massive tax on Chinese products, like they did with BYD, everything that comes from China +30% when it entered Europe, the fact that in China there is a lot of labor and it is also slavery, that is, you are forced to work 14 hours a day or go to prison, does not mean that it has to be the same in Europe, we do not have to become the market for Chinese crap, or rely on monkeys who work 7/7 14 hours a day, pile 20 in a room, on minimum wage, you will go to hell.

Now, the bad part

It will most likely be worse, Asians will keep coming, AI will come too, everything will get more expensive, the middle class will no longer exist, there will only be very rich and very poor. If you have properties, hold on to them because in the future we do not know how we will buy anything else.
