"first off, i feel like there's a non 0 chance we get more than 7 chapters. idk if it'd be like a secret 8th chapter kinda like silksongs act 3, or if we'd get to chapter 7, and the story isnt fully complete yet and when we exit out to the menu theres an 8th grayed out slot or smth, but my point is, i feel like we might get more than 7. 'might'. second. even when chapter 7 ends, if there're no more extra chapters after, deltarune wont end. deltarune wont end because susie is correct. we all know that when fighting gerson, he will ask susie how she wants her story to end, and she says that she thinks its better that it just doesnt end, that it goes on forever. i personally believe that this wasnt just susie, this was toby. toby has made it expressly clear that he doesnt think his interpretations, his views, of these worlds and these characters are the only ones that matters. to toby, any and all ideas of what deltarune is can be important and enjoyable. and when you look at it that way, you realise that deltarune will never end because we wont let it. when the game ends, what do you think will happen? we will continue it. when chapter 7 reaches its conclusion, there will be chapter 8s, chapter 9s, chapter 10s. there will be au's, retellings, fanart, fangames, there will be what there has always been. the ones who can write the next, we, the youth, the pen is lying there for us to pick up. and what we need to understand is that it has already been picked up, it has been picked up and written with for over a decade now, and it will continue to be written with for what i imagine to be decades to come because deltarune will not end. we wont let it, because we love it."
