Sailor PG KOP

I just bought a brand new PG KOP flushed the pen, let it dry and no matter I do I can’t get the converter out to put a cartridge in..I have another KOP and it’s not this difficult, but no matter how hard I try I can’t get the converter out. Any suggestions?
