A Non Ismaili’s Personal Experience - Parwak, Chitral Deedar
Copied from FB
On the occasion of the Deedar of the present Imam, Prince Rahim Aga Khan, I had the opportunity to be present inside the pavilion of the Perwak Deedar Hall. There, with my own eyes, I witnessed the immense devotion, love, and respect that the murids have for their Imam, a scene that is not easy to describe in words. Truly, these people love their Imam with deep passion, and the Imam also meets his Jamat with immense compassion, affection, and sincerity.
I personally listened to his farmans, which included very loving and guiding messages regarding the Jamat’s education and upbringing, progress, connection with faith, and a better future. In the end, he prayed for the worldly and spiritual success of the Jamat and also expressed his desire to visit the Jamat again in the future.
What impressed me the most was that despite thousands of people being gathered in one place, everyone demonstrated remarkable discipline, patience, and respect, which was truly admirable.
In my view, Prince Rahim Aga Khan is a very dignified, gentle, and inspiring personality. If anyone spreads negative propaganda about him, it would be contrary to reality, because I witnessed and heard all of this myself.
On this blessed occasion, I wholeheartedly congratulate all my Ismaili relatives, friends, and the entire Jamat.
