Weird memory of Gale dying?

For some reason, the first time I watched the hunger games I could’ve sworn that Gale died in the sewer scene. I have a vivid memory of him dying in some tunnel, drowning or something am I crazy or do any of you remember this either? And no im not getting confused with Finnick, it looked completely different.
