Should I still practice it the usual way?

I have been practicing witchcraft I think for over five months now, and I still have these doubts etched in my mind. I am debating whether or not I am allowed to practice western witchcraft rather than local one. I just want to know if like i won't disturb anything if i continue to practice it the usual way. My problem with our local practice is we are lacking of resources and books on how it should be done and only those who are blooded of it are the only ones who can teach. In here we call them "babaylans." But yeah, I am planning to pursue what I really believe in and itʼs my responsibility to verify that it's not prohibited to practice it the western way.
