Could a ps1 ode like pico boot work on an early model ps2?
I don't have the skills to create something like this myself, but I do know some early models have a high enough hardware compatibility that they can use software like tonyhax, and that the only real way to currently play ps1 backups is through either burned disks/pops due to the ps1 running the hard drive/usb ports, so I was wondering if something like a pi pico could theoretically be used to play an sd card backup or even take over the usb ports/hard drive when the console is in ps1 mode or even replace the disc drive with a generic ps1 game being added to the browser and if that could be something to look forward to in the future?
