Seniors Please Help: Is DTU Mechanical Really Worth Joining?

Hi bhaiya/didi, I’m considering joining Delhi Technological University Mechanical this year and wanted an honest opinion from someone senior.

Online placement stats are very confusing, so I wanted to ask realistically:

* How are Mechanical placements actually this year? * What placement percentage is true for Mech? * What is the average package students are getting realistically? * Are core companies coming properly or mostly non-tech/IT roles? * Between DTU and Netaji Subhas University of Technology, which would you personally prefer for placements and opportunities? * Is DTU Mechanical worth joining in 2026 considering future scope?

I’m not looking for marketing, just genuine guidance from someone experienced. Thanks a lot :)
