Addiction advice

I’ve been smoking weed and taking opioids like percs and dilaudid for the last few years since my closest friends died and I’ve been wanting to quit and been trying and I was just wondering if anyone any here that has battled with addiction before had any tips or advice they could share that they learned from their journey.
