Hot take(?): Rick Astley’s “Together Forever” is better than “Never Gonna Give You Up”

The latter is obviously THE Rickroll song, and his undisputed signature song. But the former, the lyrics are just…more powerful. Let’s see “Never Gonna” is the “proposal’ song, then “Together” is the wedding song. Never Gonna feels like an informal promise, while Together feels like a true, lifelong commitment straight from the heart.
