3.5mm audio advice
Howdy. Just replaced a 12 yo dead benq st projector with a th575. Mounted on a high shelf. This guy has a 3.5mm audio out. I'm not sure how to proceed with external audio, and I'd like advice. I'm a musician, I have a home studio with a collection of excellent honest monitors, and a living room audio setup that's just fine. This is something different in a different room that won't be connected to any of the above. I know very little about home theatre set-ups, and honestly I've been pretty dismissive of the shock and awe biggest bass response consumer audio world, for better or worse. I hate movie theatres for that reason. For reference, I was running a pair of old ue boom portable speakers wired from my old projector and perfectly happy for the odd movie or TV series. I'm not sold on the Bluetooth lag. I'm not interested in another dedicated receiver for the room. Stereo is all I need. So I think it's either powered speakers or a sound bar, correct? Open to any recommendations and advice! Loud enough and clear is all I want.
