Should I be worried?

A couple of days ago I recieved the email saying River has been shipped (yay). I went to go click on the shipping link yesterday and it says that the link is expired. I thougnt okay thats odd. Then today I checked my email to see what would be coming via usps. It says that I am receiving a package from mattel. I was like okay thats odd EVERY doll that I have purchased from them comes via FedEx. Even more I've never (except second hand dolls) delivered by USPS. But apparently the email lied about what I was receiving in the mail because I don't have River in my possession (boo) or any of mail I was supposed to recieve. I am just worried she is gonna be lost in the mail system or the more likely incident of it all just being horribly damaged. What are your guys experience with having dolls delivered via usps?
