Would I be able to move this?

This vent goes into the room in the inside (bathroom) as well as the other side of the room. Since it will be in the way of a tiled standup shower I originally thought of “capping” it so it only flows out the other room. However. Now that I look at it more I’m wondering if I can put an elbow on it and move it over to the left? Is this doable? How many hours would a typically professional bill for something like this?
