Okay I’ll start giving context so you can understand the situation I’m in (First post ever btw and I’m under age so don’t do anything wierd). In 2023 I moved from the United States to a different country, at the time I was really happy with my life. I’ve always been social, had over 30 friends. I always cared about others even if they didn’t care about me. At the time I used to be severely over weight, but nobody said anything because everyone in my family is severely over weight as well. We always had eating habits that weren’t healthy, over eating, constant eating, fast food daily, multiple sweet treats every single day. My dad always wanted to spoil me and my siblings because when he was younger he used to have nothing at all, after marrying my mom he made multiple businesses (most didn’t work out) but he never gave up. Now he has 6+ businesses that make a lot of money. I have the privilege of saying money is never a problem since we always go on trips, go to the most expensive private school in the country, spend 500$+ twice a week in fresh groceries, my parents bearly say no to anything. I have always been greatfull for everything they have done for me , and I’ve always been a staring A honor roll student , even if they would be proud of me by just passing everything. But once we came to this new country I realized that it was finally a perfect time to get my dream body. I started making research and came across a diet of “don’t eat anything Monday-Thursday unless your parents are watching” and that’s when I started eating 500-800 calories most days and on weekends I would have 3000+. Everyone got really worried about me because since I’ve always been fat it was wierd that I was suddenly sooo skinny (and I was also anemic) but I lied to my parents saying I was fine and that I would start taking care for myself and drinking medicine to reverse anemia and since they had a lot of problems to take care of at the time (I won’t be getting into those details in this post) they trusted me, ofc I didn’t keep taking care of myself, I never threw up, never exercised, never did anything not normal, but I just wouldn’t eat over 1000 calories daily. I was happy that after about one year I lost well over 50lbs.  Till I reached 82lbs… at 5’2 height. I was losing hair , was cold all the time and looked sick. My parents contacted the best doctor (for adult with severe weight change problems) in my country and he thought I had hypothyroidism so they gave me a pill called synthroid, 20mg daily and I was supposed to take it for the rest of my life. I felt like the pill didn’t have any effect on me so I kept taking it. After a while my grandma died after a long long battle… and I skipped the pill for 3 days because of how insanely hurt I was by this… worst idea ever… I felt like I was about to die all my symptoms got worst (like heart beating fast, coldness that could never stop, crying and screams 24/7, depression ). My dad couldn’t take it and he realized how blind he was so we left right after the funeral, we took a plane to the USA to see a really good pediatrician to check up on me… she told me I didn’t have hypothyroidism , that I was anemic and had a eating disorder (what a surprise), but then she told me I had severe scoliosis , and that it’s insane no one told me… I mean I always knew one hip was higher than the other, and that when I was younger my family would say I “walked like a little duck”… but I never knew it was so serious. So we stayed there for 24 days getting medical things non stop to have a back brace for my severe scoliosis. In those 24 days I started binge eating. And I’ve kept binge eating ever since, idk how much I weight anymore but I’ll put a picture of me below (I can assure I’m over weight) and I’m dealing with BED (over 5-10k calories a day) the doctor is giving me 30g of Fluoxetina duly and it’s helped me improve my mood yet I sometimes become too hyper and end up doing dumb things that kind of ruin my reputation. I can’t stop binges and I need help I feel unmotivated, fat, and discounting this is a picture of me rn on a random day. Help ,if someone answers ill maybe do another post because this one is too long already, I hope many people can read this and do awareness about BED and give help, advice, and prayers💕
