The gameplay and powers are so freaking cool. While playing the game , one of my friend asked me why cant she fly , since those bad guys can. I said to him coz the devs are lazy. A few levels in and i unlocked levitation 😂 forgive me remedy. Jesse looks and moves like a badass through out the game. I loved our mysterious janitor. But for moment they made it seem as if were going to have to fight him, when you get the music player. I like how upgrading powers and weapons have real effect on gameplay. When i first met the former during the fridge mission, it was a hide and seek. But on my final visit i was the predator.

As a guy who loves to deep dive into the lore , getting through a new area took me forever. Do people even understand whats going on without reading the texts ? Like so much of story and details are buried inside the texts. But despite reading copious amounts of texts i still felt the story was lacking. Theres just so much of setting up without any payoff. The main campaign ended in a hurry. Only after finishing the foundation , i realized that this isnt a game i should be playing for the story. So i went into AWE without expecting a story and it was a blast. I wish i had known this when i started this game. Also the music in this game is bland ?

I do really wish we have more of actual story and better music the next time. The place and lore are so amazing.

overall 7/10.

I would've given it an 8 if Dr. Darling wasnt so jacked. How tf is a labrat so jacked ??

Just dont go in expecting a story.
