I do not understand “fe users”

It never really made sense how people are so comfortable with following the status quo and support/like things just because everyone else likes it. even if they have an opposing opinion they will ask you what you think about something before adjusting their opinion to “fit in”. You also can never really tell when someone is being real when they operate like this. or if they act like you like you in your face but talk behind you with the “in crowd” behind your back. it’s so fake and i always call it out when i see it.

this is probably moreso the ones who have it as their dominant and secondary function, because i am dating a fe user (entp) and she’s a nonconformist like myself. it’s not like we who use Fi are immune to other people’s opinions, we just stand on our beliefs because it’s a part of who we are. That’s why my close circle are other high Fi because i like knowing they keep it real and I trust them with things. I just feel more comfortable when I see others be their authentic self. Heck there are times my friends would be blunt as hell to me about how they feel about me and my opinions but i respect them for being honest. i feel like honesty is discouraged because everyone has an image to save nowadays.
