First accident today, some questions

Was hit by a car that changed from the 2nd lane into the 1st lane in a spiral roundabout just after I had entered, I believe them to be fully liable. Should I put a claim in with my insurer and also contact theirs directly saying I believe they are at fault and with evidence?
