Lubellion useless?

I genuinenly don't understand why soaring dragon lubellion is a core piece of branded. I'm not the most invested yugioh player so maybe that's why. But what does he even do? He's just a way worse Albion or what am I missing? He puts fusion materials out of reach by shuffling, he makes u discard and has no secondary effect and his fusion requirements are more niche and make him a worse branded fusion target. Please sum1 explain what the flip his optimal use case is. He's got a fire artwork tho
