STOP. LEAVING.

So I was doing some squid dives, yk, for the major order and for the life of me, I cannot fathom what goes through peoples heads when they just up and leave. I’m doing an eradication mission where we had to destroy some ships. We get through ONE sub-objective and the other two just said “peace out” and disappeared. LEAVING ME TO DO THE MISSION ALONE BC I AINT NO COWARD NOT FINISHING THE JOB.

Now look, I get that sometimes our connections drop and we don’t INTEND to leave. But here’s my counterpoints: 1, the game doesn’t tell you if a member disconnects, just that they left. 2, it takes no time whatsoever to come back online and rejoin the mission. AND YET THEY NEVER DID COME BACK

YOU ALL KNOW HOW HARD SQUID DIVES ARE. I swear, Bot Dives on max difficulty are easier than a squid dive on level 6. I get through the main objective, try to get more sub-objectives but need to bail bc they thought spawning 4 walkers would be funny. Extract is called but then a WHOLE FLOOD OF VOTELESS AND FLESHMOBS AND SQUIDS DECIDE TO LEAVE THEIR BUSHES AND BUMRUSH ME. I had no stratagems left bc the timer was up, and I promptly died before extracting

Please, for the love of all that is democratic and beautiful, STOP LEAVING BC YOU THINK ITS TOO HARD. IK ITS HARD, IM RIGHT THERE. If you’re going to leave, LEAVE WITH THE WHOLE TEAM AND NOT JUST ABANDON YOUR TEAMMATES. I hope the two people who left me alone in there have their consoles and PCs short-circuit and erupt into flames. I love this game, but I HATE some of these divers man.
