Is dentistry worth it

Hi everyone!!

I’m supposed to start dental school next month, but I’m seriously thinking about not going.

The biggest thing stressing me out is the amount of debt and tuition. It’s a lot of money, and I’m honestly not sure anymore if dentistry is worth it financially or lifestyle-wise in the long run.

I worked really hard to get accepted, so this decision is extremely difficult for me. Part of me still feels excited about dentistry, but another part of me is questioning whether I’m making the right choice before committing to years of school and massive loans.

Did anyone else feel this way right before starting? Do you regret going into dentistry, or are you happy you stayed with it?
