Started doing more calisthenics because gym workouts were burning me out mentally

I still enjoy lifting, but honestly the whole gym routine started feeling exhausting after a while. Driving there, waiting for equipment, crowded machines, awkward interactions sometimes… it slowly made workouts feel more stressful than enjoyable. Me and my friend started doing more bodyweight training at home just to stay consistent, and over time we got really into calisthenics progression. What started as basic push-ups and pull-ups turned into learning skills, improving control, and actually enjoying training again. The biggest problem we had was tracking progress properly because calisthenics skills take time and most workout apps felt built only for gym lifting. So we ended up building our own small app called Calistack to help us follow skill progressions and stay motivated like a game progression system. We’re still improving it while training ourselves, but it’s been cool seeing how much more consistent we became after simplifying workouts. Curious if anyone else here slowly shifted from traditional gym training toward calisthenics for the same reason?
