I don’t want to see you anymore

It’s a funny feeling when your heart hasn’t quite caught up with your mind yet.

It’s this jarring feeling of knowing I could never be the soft-hearted woman I once was with you. The one who held onto hope for a future, the one that laid in your bed as you rubbed my head, the one that you played one-on-one with you even though you never let me win. The one who felt safe with you, who laughed with you, who trusted you.

And yet… despite the fact that the safety is gone and I removed myself, still feeling a deep attachment to you.

I hate it honestly.

How do I love someone I don’t want to love anymore. Think about someone i don’t want to see again
