Hitting a wall & digging in

Radiation

Let me start out by saying that for the most part my treatment has been manageable. I kind of face what’s in front of me and move forward. But I’ve just come to a moment where I’m over it and salty.
I’m 51 yo diagnosed at 50 (Oct 25). HER2+/ ER+ / PR- with lymph node spread. I like so many here got the platinum package - TCHP chemo, dmx, and now radiation with endocrine treatment to follow.
I’m 10 days out from my dmx and my pathology report came back excellent - complete pathological response - which is really great, BUT of course there is a BUT 😤. I’m being referred to a Radiation Oncologist for a consultation about radiation treatment. And I’ve hit a wall - right now I’m at NO - not gonna do it. I’m just not. I may find myself being more reasonable after the consult but I’m over it at the moment. I’m just ground down.
From what I can gather it’s coming up because during my surgery they removed 5 lymph nodes and all 5 show that cancer had been present.
If anyone is still reading and had a similar case, was the recommended radiation treatment recommended to prevent further local recurrence?
