Finding Simple Elegance in Modest Styling
I have always liked clothes that are comfortable, respectful and easy to move in, but I also like to add a little detail to my style, so that it does not seem to be plain.
Recently, i have been trying longer dresses and skirts in layers and one of the easiest elements that transformed the way my outfits should be assembled is a chain belt. it does not sound loud or distractive and contributes to establishing shape in an unintensive manner without making everything extravagant and imbalanced.
I tend to wear it with loose dresses or high-waisted skirts, which is why it provides enough structure but does not ruin the softness of the clothing. it is now one of those little things that I turn to when I feel like I need something a little more polished. It was around the same period that i heard about ubuy and alibaba in another online conversation, rather as an incidental remark, actually, in the context of how patchy sourcing globally can be based on origin. Shein tries, but I think I’ve had similar experience sourcing from there too.
My favorite thing about modest fashion is that it is personal. Even minor details such as a chain belt can make a big difference in the way an outfit feels even when being able to remain faithful to your own standards.
In my case, trends are less important but rather feeling confident in whatever i wear on a daily basis.
