Welcome one and all who happen to read this! Today, I bring you the ninety-fourth installment of a series by myself and our ever venerable and inspiring Moderator, u/Trigger\_68, regarding Dollzi fanart. (And assisted with on my end by the ever reliable and knowledgeable, u/jaquiethecat) Where basically, everyday one of us is going to post a piece of Dollzi fanart, and overview it. That way, if you like and enjoy it, you can go show some appreciation for the art and artist.

And today, we have a sad yet comforting Dollzi artwork; “Doll x Uzi (my art)” (that’s just the name, mind you. This isn’t actually mine.) created by “Romanwolfy” over on Pinterest.

Now starting off with a brief physical description and a description of the material qualities; we have Doll and Uzi together. With Doll clinging to Uzi while crying, and Uzi holding Doll while assuring Doll. Moving on to the coloring and creation of the artwork, I am fairly certain that it was made with paint. As it has clear paint coloring, and doesn’t appear to have any signs of being made with colored pencil, marker, crayon, or gel pen. Additionally, the artwork doesn’t have any errors or mistakes that I can notice.

Moving on to a formal and contextual analysis of the artwork, this artwork is as simple as usual; with Doll, Uzi, and that’s it. Neither Doll nor Uzi are clearly centered, but a good portion of Doll’s hair and lower body is. Resulting in your gaze being drawn to her first. The artwork is lightly stylized, and Doll and Uzi follow their canon designs as far as I can tell.

And finally regarding an interpretation and evaluation of the artwork, the artwork is decently orginal. As while it is just Doll and Uzi on a blank background, (though one that is thankfully colored this time.) the sad yet comforting contents of it help it stand out a good bit. The message and story is as hurt/comfort as it is; Doll had a panic attack or something along those lines, and Uzi is there to help comfort her and calm her down. And finally, the artwork doesn’t have any symbolism that I can notice. Overall, “Doll x Uzi (my art)” is a sad but sweet addition to this series. And make sure to come on back tomorrow for another Dollzi Fanart Overview!
